When we hopped on a plane to Minneapolis for Tony & Sheri’s big day, we had no idea what kind of incredible we were in store for. Their venue, Little Log House Pioneer Village, is an amazing piece of property home to forty-five restored historic buildings; ranging from log cabins to an iconic 60’s diner to an old brick church that was taken down BRICK BY BRICK from its original location and rebuilt on-site.
This Love Weddings did a fantastic job planning and decorating the reception hall and Moody Hues Floral KILLED IT on the flowers. Sheri had each table chosen with a different national park, and the center of each table had a gorgeous bouquet made from the official flowers of that national park, along with a postcard. It was the most unique idea I’ve seen for table themes! Paired with graceful greenery and vintage lighting, it was breathtaking.
The weather over the weekend was typical Minnesota, from what I gathered: after a day that was nearly 100 degrees with humidity the day before, the morning of the wedding dawned with an impressive thunder & lighting storm, which cleared after a few hours and by evening it was clear, warm, and graced us with a gorgeous sunset. Then to top it all off, Tony & Sheri surprised all of their family and friends with a fireworks show to rival any city’s fourth of July celebration. It was definitely a travel wedding for the books! Thank you guys, for letting us be a part of your incredible day!
