Intimate, small backyard weddings are where my heart is right now. The laid-back closeness that everyone shares; the casual beauty in the details; the inside jokes and family traditions that run through everything. Jon & Sarah have been together for long enough that they’re already creating their life hand-in-hand, and today was a complete and fitting celebration of that life surrounded by those who love them most. The fact that they have poured themselves into the intensive renovation of their now-charming home and landscaped yard (complete with the gorgeous flower garden that Sarah cultivated) is a beautiful background story of their dedication and a quiet showcase of the partnership they live out every day.
