Well, the wedding day may not have gone exactly as planned, but it didn’t really matter. All you have to see is the way that Matt looks at Tammy (and vice versa), and you’d know in a second that the most important thing in the world to each of them is the other person. They are perfect for each other; it’s just so beautifully obvious.

Our weekend with Matt & Tammy started at Baker Beach for a pre-wedding photo session, during which we explored old bunkers, got quite sandy & wet, and laughed a LOT. Oh, and we saw some naked dudes on the rocks… apparently the far end of the beach is clothing optional.  😉 The next day, after hours of painstaking primping (hey, we’re always worth it, right?! ;D), the bride & groom and their faithful posse all piled into a luxurious stretch hummer and headed to the church. With the I Do’s said and the kiss sealed, we all headed out again in anticipation of an hour of photos at the GORGEOUS reception venue… and then… the great San Francisco Friday Afternoon Rush Hour Plus Two Freeway Accidents struck. Oh yes. What should have been a 30 minute drive became a 90 minute parking lot adventure (good thing they had champagne in that limo!!), and by the time we got to the venue, photo time was gone and it was time to serve dinner. However, most of the guests were still stuck in that traffic, so we managed to steal the bride & groom away for about ten minutes for a few quick portraits; after that, the party was officially off & running!

Regardless of the schedule mishaps, Matt & Tammy’s wedding day was SO full of love, who cares about a little traffic?? Their family and friends surrounding them just poured out their pride and adoration for this special couple all day. And in the end, they’re finally where they most want to be: in each other’s arms. Who could ask for more than that?
