I can’t say enough good things about Jason & Tracy. Aside from being really, really ridiculously good looking, 😉 they’re one of the most genuine, open and accommodating couples I have ever met in my life. They went out of their way to make sure that all of their guests had the time of their lives during their wedding weekend in Sunland, near the Gorge in Eastern Washington. There were even seaplane rides! Tracy & her entourage outdid themselves with this french-country-themed wedding; the gorgeous white tent that was set up on Jason’s brother’s property was dripping with vintage lace, white flowers and candles in mason jars. Their small ceremony was held near the water with an impressive rock face rising up to the sky on the other side, and was crowned perfectly with a handmade arbor that Tracy’s sister & her husband built. To top it all off, we were able to hop over to Cave B Winery and take a few shots with Jason & Tracy before the wedding – it was INCREDIBLE! Such a perfect, perfect day.
One of my dreams now is to cover a wedding at Cave B Winery. In lieu of that, however… I’ll take an amazing bridal session. 🙂
Tracy’s sister Heidi and her husband Adam (our dear friends) actually BUILT the wedding arbour. Adam even literally went into the woods, searched out the perfect trees and cut them down. They put it together at home; then took it apart, brought the wood to Sunland and built it all over again. And it was PERFECT for the ceremony. Simply amazing.
Best keep-the-guests-occupied idea ever. One of Jason’s buddies from Kenmore Air was giving guests rides in this seaplane… I was so jealous!
Oh my gosh. I cried so much during these toasts! Tracy’s mom had not told her that her wedding day would have been her grandmother’s 100th birthday; during her toast, she not only surprised her with that but then she gave Tracy a pin that had belonged to her grandmother. Love LOVE love.
Preston is Jason’s nephew, and he was awesome! Kevin let him play around with his camera, and he got this shot of us. Not bad, huh? 😀
The sunset was AMAZING – we couldn’t help it, we had to grab Jason & Tracy for just a couple more shots.
