Jen & Baby {Bellingham Maternity Photography}

My friend Jen is due with her first child at the end of September, so last week she & I headed out to capture some maternity images before she pops. ;) It was a blast! It was absolutely the perfect overcast day, with just enough wind that no one was out at the park – so we had it all to ourselves. She is SO cute!! …I hope I look this good at 8 months pregnant.

Sawyer Johan {Bellingham Infant Photography}

Meet Sawyer, the newest member of the Curtis family. What a doll! He was such a good sport having a camera in his face for two hours. What an introduction to modeling after only two weeks of life! ;) His sisters (Katura & Bergen – I love their names!!) were both complete hams and couldn’t wait for their turns in front of the camera with their new little brother.

Richard & Diane {Bellingham Wedding Photography}

Posted on

Richard & Diane were married in a beautiful private ceremony in the fireside lodge at the Chrysalis – it was like being in their living room! Their kids had front row seats on the plush green couch, and the celebration afterwards felt like a party at your best friend’s house.

Jake & Arianne {Wedding Photography}

Jake and Arianne were officially married two years ago just before she was deployed to Iraq – but now she’s back and they can finally celebrate for real! And despite the rain (hey, we love the Northwest) a celebration it was. By the time we were able to tear them away from the party to take some pictures, it was raining way too hard to go outside and the only place we had was the kitchen downstairs… but hey, when you have lemons, make delicious lemonade! :) We all had a blast.

Yep… this is how she was transported from the hotel to the ceremony site. ;) The dress was worth it!

Jake runs an auto racing maintenance & custom build shop – Arianne surprised him with his own special grooms cake.

Oh yes it is! :D Bride and groom had a “first game” right before the first dance – Drink Pong! (PG… there were children present.)

Pat & Erin {Wedding Photography}

Pat & Erin were married at the gorgeous Newcastle Golf Club… on a not-so-gorgeous day.  The skies spit on us a bit, but at least were kind enough to stop for just enough time to dash out on the patio and take some pictures! But in spite of the drizzle, this party was perfect. Congratulations, Pat & Erin! We loved being a part of your celebration.

Larry & Andrea… Engagement Sneek Peek

Despite more than a hour delay because of the *insane* crowds in LaConner (don’t ever go near that town during the tulip festival), we managed to have a ridiculously fantastic shoot with Larry & Andrea at one of the tulip fields. It helped that there was a HUGE old storage barn on the property, and a sweet old bus.  :) I haven’t even gone through all the images yet but I absolutely had to share this one… more to come soon!

Sean & Celeste: the Wedding!

Sean & Celeste were married in the most charming venue in Seattle: The Sorrento Hotel. It was the first time that Kevin & I had been there, and we LOVED it. It was just so perfect for this couple – chic and charming, them to a T.  (See their engagement session here)

Celeste wore her mother’s rings on her right hand the whole day.

The last minute Facebook post: “T minus 6 minutes and counting!” :D

The view from the balcony was AMAZING.

This was their guest book: everyone wrote a note on a little rock and placed it beneath the little baby tree, and Sean & Celeste are going to plant the tree on their property with the rocks around it.

This was from Sean’s son. :)

This kid was awesome, he was taking pictures the whole time.

As they got ready to sign the marriage license, Sean’s son pipes up and asks, “Where do I get to sign?” :) So he got to officially approve of the marriage, too.

Nicholas & Fern: Anniversary

Nicholas and Fern have been married for 60 years!! What a beautiful couple. :) And they have a big beautiful family, all of whom came to join them as they renewed their vows in the gorgeous Assumption Catholic Church in Bellingham.

Three of the grandkids put together their grandparent’s love story with candy bars. :)

I just loved this sign – it was hanging up in the community hall where the reception took place. I want one!

Delilah’s Christmas 2009: Cute Kiddo

Our adorable goddaughter and our friend Crystal (that would be Delilah’s mother) had their annual Christmas card shoot.  :) I definitely think this was the best year yet. Honestly, how can you go wrong with a mug like that??
